Cancel Workflow

Overview

The NCPDP 2017071 SCRIPT Standard requires enhancements to Cancel workflow.  Surescript mandates that proper validation of medication is inspected by the end-user prior to transmission this includes the following:

 

Patient

• First Name
• Last Name
• Address
• Communication Numbers
• Gender
• Date of Birth

 

Pharmacy

• Name

 

     Medication Information

• Drug Description
• Quantity Unit of Measure
• Sig (free text Sig vs. structured)
• Notes (to/from pharmacy)
• Refills

What's New

The "Reason for Stopping Medication" screen has been modified as follows:

• The screen is resizable
• An HTML container has been added to display file "RXCANCEL.HTM"
• This file is located in the Outline folder

 

User can see addition details which informs the end-user of which medication is being cancelled.
