Patient Name Suffix in Demographics

 

Overview

The Suffix field in the Patient Demographic screen is a free text field.  When adding new patients, management teams want to keep the entries as clean and standard as possible.  Free text fields allow the users to type mistakes.  Having a dropdown would eliminate that potential mistake.

 

What's New

The Suffix field in the Demographics screen has been converted to a choice list.  The choice list will be added to a new Table Set found in the Setup Tables.  

 

Table Set Name: Patient Name Suffix

 

 

The Demographic suffix dropdown pulls from the table.
