Zirmed is Now Waystar

Overview

Zirmed and Navicure merged in early 2018 to form a new company, Waystar. At the end of Q3 2018, they will officially deprecate the old names, using only Waystar for new and existing accounts.

 

What's New

 

All "ZirMed" references in the MedInformatix client application have been replaced with generic representation.

The following screens have been changed:

1. Transaction History Screen

The EOB-Z button is now called EOB-E

 

2. Electronic Remittance Advice Screen

The EOB-Z button is now called EOB-E.

 

3. Billing History and Claim Status screen

ZirMed Claims Hist button is now Waystar Claims Hist.

ZirMed Stmt Hist button is now Waystar Stmt Hist.

 

 

4. Batch Patient Payment Processing screen

ZirMed ID label field is now called Waystar ID.

ZirMed ID grid column is now called Waystar ID.

 

5. Main Screen, Billing Tab dropdown list

Guarantor Remittance (ZirMed) now reads Guarantor Remittance.

 

6. Dclaim Preferences Menu

ZirMed Jobs Enabled checkbox is now called Waystar Jobs Enabled.

ZirMed Remittance Enabled checkbox is now called Waystar Remittance Enabled.

ZirMed Eligibility Enabled checkbox is now called Waystar Eligibility Enabled.

ZirMed Z-Pay Enabled checkbox is now called Waystar Patient Payments.

 

A new field called Waystar Form has been added.  It is used by real-time eligibility.
