ERA Processing in Bill History
Overview
The Bill History screen shows a message of "ERN/ERA Payment" whenever an ERA is processed for an account regardless of whether there is an actual payment or payment is 0.00. A second message appears above with the payment or writeoff amount, if one was applied.
What's New
The message has been changed to read "ERN/ERA Processed" for accuracy.
Instructions
Select a patient from the Patient List screen.
Click the Payment button to open the Transaction History screen.
Select a line item.
Click the Bill Hist button at the bottom right of the screen to open the Billing History and Claim Status.
When an electronically payment is processed, the wording on the screen will show:
"ERN/ERA Processed"
