Search Insurance by Payer ID/EMID

Overview

Users use the Insurance Carrier search function to locate/edit/review their insurance carriers in MedInformatix. There are various filters that can be used to find the target payer(s).

There are certain payers, or payer groups, that share the same Payer ID/EMCID but have a different name or share other searchable data points with many other insurance records so it's difficult to bring back a list of everything needed.

What’s New

Now, there is an option to search by Payer ID/EMCID for insurance carriers.

Instructions

Select Insurance Payors from the Setup tab dropdown list

Open the Insurance Search box on the Insurance Carriers screen.

Click Name / Payer ID radio button.

Enter the desired information in the Search box.

Click the OK button.
