Facility Access Control

Overview

Multiple customers need to apply access control to Facilities, to allow specific users access specific facilities. In the previous version, the Facility choice lists were filtered to only provide the user access to patient management screens, such as the Master List and Search Wizard, with the facilities they have been granted access to view.  These screens were not patient specific screens.

What's New

Facility Access Control can now be applied to the following Patient Specific Screens:

1. View Appts (accessed from the Patient List screen)
2. Appt Selection Window (which launches the patient chart)
3. Appt List (accessed from the patient's chart)

 

Enable

Click the Security tab on Main Menu screen.

Open the Security Setup screen.

Select the desired user.

Click the Companies button.

Select the desired Facilities

Click the Save button.

 

Patient List -- View Appts:

Click the Patient List screen.

Click the View Appts button.

Note: In the DIMPROV for the work group, set the following: [Use appt no=1]

 

Select desired patient from the Patient List screen.

Click the Chart icon to open the Select Appointment screen.

Double-click the desired appointment to open the patient chart.

 

 

 

 

 

Within the Chart: Appt List button

Only shows appts tied to books based on facility access controls.

Click the Chart icon to open the Patient chart.

Click the Appt List icon on the left hand side menu.
