Printing and Fonts

A standard font style and size will be pre-selected and installed with the MedInformatix software that typically meets the alignment needs of most required forms.  However, there may be times when the office desires, or a form requires another font size and style.  The following fonts can be changed through the Font Setup feature:

 

It is important to note that since fonts of individual documents can be set by editing the individual forms, it is highly recommended that document fonts are not changed via this screen.  Additionally, only True Type fonts will be able to be chosen.  The font selection may affect the screen display, as well as the printed document. To modify the font or setup of any forms, contact the system administrator or your reseller for technical assistance..

Description

Chart Documents Fonts

Refers to documents printed from the Document Repository.

RX Script Fonts

Refers to documents printed from the Medications History screen.

Decision Tree Fonts

Refers to documents printed from #EDITN, #EDITC, View Property and other decision tree options that have a Print button.

Workflow View Letters Fonts

Refers to documents printed using the Letters button and to Patient Statements.

Workflow View Fonts

Refers to document font and font size of grids in the following views:  Workflow View in Orders View, Messages View, Appt List, Master List, Unsigned/Unsaved View, Working Patient List, Patient List, External Worklist and Patient List Query.  This is intended to enlarge the physician oriented screens for ease of display when using high resolution displays (i.e. Radiology).  This is a station specific setting.

Check Fonts

Refers to documents printed from the Refund option on the Payment screen.

Print Style: Chart Documents

Refers to printing chart documents.

Print Style: RX Documents

Refers to printing Rx Documents.
